Allison Woods Halloween Hobble

Founded in 2017, the Halloween Hobble runs 25 four-mile laps on service roads through Allison Woods Outdoor Learning Center — a private Statesville, NC property owned by the Allison family since the 1700s, featuring bamboo forests, hardwoods, pond-side paths, and an old farm. Each lap gains roughly 300 feet, totaling around 9,000 feet for the full 100 miles. The 30-hour cutoff, Halloween costume contest, and on-site camping define the character. Last confirmed held in October 2024; no 2025 or 2026 edition has been announced.
