Where to start

Your first hundred

16 approachable hundred-milers — lower vert, runnable loops and out-and-backs, and the highest sub-24 finish rates we can point to.

There is no easy hundred. But some are kinder than others, and the kind ones share a profile: not much climbing, a course you loop or retrace so a drop bag is never far, and a finish-rate history that says the cutoffs are humane.

This list is built from data, not opinion — ranked by elevation gain and, where we have it, the share of runners who break 24 hours. What it can’t know is you. Heat, altitude, footing, and your own training make “easy” personal; a flat Florida hundred in August is its own kind of hard. Read each race page, then decide.
