Badger

Inaugurated in 2019 by Ten Junk Miles Racing, Badger runs an out-back-and-out-again course entirely on the Badger State Trail and Jane Addams Trail between Orangeville, Illinois and Belleville, Wisconsin — 99% rail trail, less than 1% asphalt, flat and largely featureless. Aid stations appear every 4 to 8 miles and the 36-hour cutoff leaves room for slow consistent movement. The 100-mile distance is an official Badwater 135 qualifier; finishers receive a custom belt buckle.
