Tesla Hertz

Founded in 2013, Tesla Hertz returns each October to Rocky Point State Pine Barrens Preserve on Long Island — 10.48-mile loops of single-track pine barrens trail, repeated 10 times for the 100-mile distance (104.8 miles total). The terrain is 99.9% trail with two aid stations per loop; roughly 240 feet of gain per loop keeps the course runnable and accessible. The looped format and proximity to New York City draw first-time 100-milers alongside veterans chasing a flatter northeastern trail surface. The 2024 edition was the 12th annual.
