Arrowhead 135
Founded in 2005 by Ken and Jackie Krueger, Arrowhead 135 is a 135-mile point-to-point race from International Falls to Tower, Minnesota on the Arrowhead State Trail, open to runners, skiers, and cyclists. Temperatures routinely reach -45°F; mandatory gear includes a sleeping bag rated to -20°F, bivy or tent, stove, and fuel. The race is self-supported between three checkpoints with a 60-hour cutoff. Finish rates routinely fall below 50%; in 2026, 32 of 70 foot runners finished.
