Bad Dawg

Founded in 2020, Bad Dawg runs 10 loops of a 10-mile out-and-back through Ozark rolling hills on packed gravel outside Waynesville, Missouri — a deliberately accessible format with tree cover, minimal technical terrain, and fully stocked aid stations at the start and the turnaround each loop. The event benefits the OneSolePurpose project, providing shoes to Title I elementary students. Standard starters face a 32-hour cutoff; 100-mile runners may begin at 2 AM to extend it to 36 hours. The field stays small — 5 finishers in 2025.
