The terrain is steadily rolling, punchy rather than savage, rewarding consistent effort over sustained climbing. Three aid stations per loop give frequent crew access from the Yucca Street headquarters. A $5,000 base purse grows with field size. At night, the Las Vegas Strip lights the southern horizon and Lake Mead fills the eastern view. The 30-hour cutoff closes the 100-mile window.
