Buckeye Ultra
Aug 14, 2026
The Buckeye Ultra 100 is the southern half of the Buckeye 200 (formerly the Olde 96er), a self-supported road race on Ohio Route 45 from Wellsville — just above the West Virginia line — north to Walnut Beach at Lake Erie. The course is flat-to-rolling open road with under 4,000 feet of gain and no official aid stations; runners resupply at convenience stores and diners along the way. A 72-hour cutoff and minimal overhead make this a deliberately old-school, crew-optional challenge for experienced open-road runners.
