Founded in 2017, Canal Corridor runs 100 miles out-and-back from Missing Falls Brewery in downtown Akron along the Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath—25 miles north, 25 south past the start, then back. The surface is 70% crushed limestone and 30% asphalt with 1,500 feet of total gain, one of the flattest 100s in the country. Sub-24 finishers earn gold buckles; 24-30 hour finishers receive silver. The race is a Western States qualifier and donates more than $50,000 annually to local nonprofits.
