Chesterfield Gorge

The only 100-miler in western Massachusetts, Chesterfield Gorge Ultra uses a 7.75-mile out-and-back on dirt roads and doubletrack along the Westfield River at Chesterfield Gorge Reservation — rolling but not technical. Runners repeat the route within a 30-hour cutoff. All proceeds benefit the Hilltown Land Trust. Organized by Amy Rusiecki of Beast Coast Trail Running, the race entered its seventh edition in 2025, when 11 runners finished the 100-mile distance.
