Founded in 2021 by Aravaipa Running, Cocodona 250 is a 253.3-mile point-to-point race from Black Canyon City to downtown Flagstaff, crossing the Bradshaw Mountains, Prescott, Jerome, Sedona, and Mount Elden — the terrain splits roughly 45% singletrack, 46% double-track, and 9% pavement, with 38,791 feet of gain. Runners have 125 hours to finish. In 2026, Rachel Entrekin won overall in 56:09, becoming the first woman to take the outright win, with roughly 400 runners at the start.
