Cool Moon
Cool Moon 100 runs eight alternating loops from the Cool Firehouse in Cool, California — four 13.5-mile northern loops and four 11.5-mile southern loops that together cover 100 miles and roughly 13,600 feet of gain on singletrack and fire roads, including two miles of the historic Western States Trail per northern loop. Race records trace back to 2010. The 37-hour cutoff is generous by design; pacers are permitted after mile 38.5. All finishers receive a handcrafted silver buckle from Comstock Heritage silversmith James Stegman.
