Creede
Founded in 2022, Creede 100 runs ~106.5 miles from the historic silver-mining town of Creede into the San Juan Mountains on the Colorado and Continental Divide Trails — an out-and-back with short loops at the start/finish and midpoint. Average elevation is 11,359 feet; almost the entire course sits above 11,000 feet, with a high point of 13,261 feet, making it one of the highest-average-elevation hundreds in North America. Total gain is ~20,800 feet. The 40-hour cutoff is strict, and organizers warn that mileage is approximate and altitude sickness protocols are standard.
