Crooked Tree
Founded in 2021, Crooked Creek 100 runs eight loops of a 12.7-mile single-track circuit through 1,000 acres of hardwood forest at the Harry S. Frazier Scout Reservation in Shepherdsville, Kentucky — 2,300 feet of gain per loop, roughly 18,400 feet total on oak, hickory, and beech-shaded trails. The December timing brings cold and bare woods but solid footing. Crew can reach runners at the start/finish and again at mile 3 of each loop via a Pit Road setup. The 36-hour cutoff is the generous anchor; the relentless looped climbing is not.
