Crown of the Crest

Held at Calvin Crest conference camp on the Platte River bluffs southwest of Fremont, Nebraska — organized by the Greater Omaha Area Trail Runnerz (GOATz) — Crown of the Crest puts 100-milers through eight loops of a 12.5-mile circuit: 80% single-track and 20% double-track dirt, 1,500 feet of gain per loop (roughly 12,000 feet total), technical terrain with steep roller-coaster climbs, switchbacks, and roots through cedar bluffs above the river. The 33-hour cutoff applies; registration caps at 150 runners; no alcohol is permitted on the Calvin Crest property.
