Dark Divide
Founded in 2021 by Wonderland Running, Dark Divide covers 100 miles through the 76,000-acre Dark Divide Roadless Area of Gifford-Pinchot National Forest in the Washington Cascades, starting and finishing at Cispus Learning Center. Over 75% technical singletrack, long steep climbs, and remote stretches up to 16 miles between aid stations; 26,000-plus feet of gain. Eight hours of volunteer trail work are required before check-in. Beginning with 2026, the race qualifies finishers for Hardrock 100. The 48-hour cutoff is firm; in 2025, 27 runners finished.
