Forgotten Florida
Forgotten Florida runs 100 miles point-to-point from Oviedo into Tosohatchee Wildlife Management Area, threading Charles Bronson State Forest, Seminole Ranch, and Little Big Econ State Forest before a 25-mile out-and-back finale. The course is 80% trail — single-track through palm groves and pine flatwoods — with only 2 miles of pavement and a 34-hour cutoff. Florida's wild interior brings bald eagles, spoonbills, herons, and cranes as regular trail companions. Organized by Sean Blanton (the RunBum), a portion of proceeds benefits the Florida Trail Association.
