Frigid Beast Feast

Frigid Beast Feast is a three-day race weekend at Tickfaw State Park near Springfield, Louisiana, run on a 3-mile loop through cypress and tupelo swamp, bottomland hardwood forest, and boardwalk along the Tickfaw River. Eight distances from 3 miles to 150 miles operate simultaneously, with 51- and 102-mile options as the primary ultra distances. The flat, swampy loop eliminates elevation as a variable, replacing it with mental repetition and December cold. Organized by Beast Trail Racing's Jeremy Nicolosi, a portion of registration fees benefits the Chris Klug Foundation.
