Geaux Wild Ultra

Mar 6, 2027(projected)

Geaux Wild Ultra runs at Lake Bistineau State Park on a 10-mile loop connecting the Blue Wing, Koasati, and Whoa Mule trails through cypress and tupelo lowlands outside Doyline. The terrain is quintessential Louisiana State Park: flat, rooty, muddy single-track with minimal elevation change per lap. The race launched in 2024 with 50K and 50-mile distances; a 100-mile option — 10 laps — was added for 2026. Two aid stations support runners, a staffed main station at the start/finish and an unmanned water stop near the halfway point of each loop.
