Georgia Jewel
Sep 18, 2026
Founded in 2011, Georgia Jewel runs 100 miles out-and-back on the Pinhoti Trail through the Chattahoochee National Forest, starting at the Dalton Convention Center. The course mixes roughly 70 miles of singletrack with 21.5 miles of jeep road and 8.5 miles of pavement, crossing five mountains with 16,053 feet of gain — relentlessly rocky and rooty on the singletrack sections. A 35-hour cutoff and a UTMB qualifying slot (5 points) attract experienced runners; the 15th annual edition in 2025 had 49 starters.
