Go Big 260
Go Big 260 circumnavigates the entire Big Island of Hawaii — 260 miles of 100% pavement starting and ending in Hilo, traveling through Volcano, South Point, Kona, Kohala Mountain Road, Waimea, and back — with just under 18,000 feet of gain and 18,000 of descent. Runners must provide all their own aid and pre-position drops across the island; the race carries a 96-hour time limit with a minimum pace of 65 miles per day. Founded in 2020 by Alyx Barnett and Hawaii Mountain Running to benefit the Hawaii Wildlife Fund, only two runners finished the inaugural edition.
