Founded in 2009, Hallucination 100 at Run Woodstock starts at 2 PM Friday — runners enter the dark feeling relatively fresh — then sends competitors through six 16.6-mile loops on the Potawatomi Trail's technical single-track through Michigan forest near Gregory. Total gain is 9,000 feet; the 30-hour cutoff is tight for the terrain. The Woodstock theme pervades: live music, camping, costuming, and finisher belt buckles paired with peace-sign medals. Hallucination is the fourth leg of the Midwest Grand Slam and a Western States 100 qualifier; in 2025, 81 runners finished.
