Hood Hundred
Inaugural in August 2024, Hood Hundred covers 100 miles from Mt. Hood Meadows ski area on a lollipop-loop — 20 miles out, a 60-mile figure-eight through Hood's eastern and southern backcountry, then 20 miles back — with 17,300 feet of ascent. The course is 82% singletrack, topping out near 7,300 feet, with 14 aid stations and full crew access. A 34-hour cutoff qualifies finishers for the Western States lottery. All starters must complete 8 hours of volunteering or donate $100 to trail stewardship. The race is capped at 250 and sold out in weeks in 2025.
