Just Survive 125

Jan 1, 2027

Debuted in 2019, Just Survive 125 is a 125-mile out-and-back on Florida's Ocean to Lake Hiking Trail, running from Hobe Sound Beach inland to Lake Okeechobee and back through pine flatwoods, cypress swamps, wet prairies, and palmetto scrub. There are no aid stations, no crew, no pacers, and no GPS watches—volunteers shuttle four supply buckets spaced roughly 15.5 miles apart, and the 48-hour cutoff is the only checkpoint. Entry is capped at 25 runners; in 2025, 13 finished. Finisher donations go to Team Lujan.
