Lake Sonoma
Inaugural in fall 2026, the Sonoma Fall Classic 100 pairs the historic Lake Sonoma 50-mile course — a Golden Ticket race since 2008 — with a new 100.5-mile distance run as two back-to-back 50-mile loops around the Warm Springs arm of Lake Sonoma near Healdsburg, California. The 100-miler opens with the Pritchett Peaks climb, a ridge closed 364 days a year and accessible only to race participants. Total elevation gain is 25,058 feet across relentless singletrack hills, with potential water crossings and October mud; daytime highs reach the mid-70s, nights drop to the 50s. Cutoff is 36 hours.
