Lovit
Founded in 2014 as a nonprofit fundraiser for trail maintenance, LOViT runs 100 miles out-and-back along the Lake Ouachita Vista Trail — mainly single-track with some forest road and minimal pavement, threading rocky ridgelines and rolling hills above the southern shore of Lake Ouachita in the Ouachita National Forest. Elevation gain totals roughly 20,000 feet; IMBA awarded the trail one of its 40 worldwide Epic designations. Each aid station is visited twice. The 34-hour cutoff and tagline — "Ankles of Steel...Iron Will" — signal terrain demanding technical footing throughout.
