Mamba

Founded in 2023 by James Boler as Memphis's first 100-miler, Mamba runs seven loops of a 14.35-mile circuit on Wolf River singletrack — flat, fast, and mostly tree-lined trail along the river's edge, with just a few short hills and around 2,500 feet of total gain. The looped format makes it a crew festival: teams can set up canopy tents at the start/finish and see their runner every 14 miles. The 34-hour cutoff qualifies finishers for Western States; sub-20 and sub-24 hour finishers earn special buckles.
