Marji Gesick
Founded in 2016 by 906 Adventure Team, Marji Gesick is a multi-discipline endurance event encompassing both mountain biking and foot running over 100 miles point-to-point from North Marquette to Ishpeming through Marquette County, Michigan's Upper Peninsula. The running course covers closer to 110 miles with over 13,000 feet of gain on rocky, rooty single-track — east-coast punchy climbing with no official aid stations. Runners must be fully self-supported, collect tokens at hidden checkpoints, and finish in 28 hours to earn a buckle; in 2025, the MG100RUN posted a 68% finish rate.
