Midstate Massive Ultra

Founded in 2019, Midstate Massive Ultra runs 100 miles point-to-point from Windblown Ski Area in New Ipswich, New Hampshire to Douglas State Forest in Massachusetts — 13,615 feet of gain — crossing into Rhode Island and Connecticut along the Midstate Trail. The first 30 miles deliver rocky, rooty technical singletrack through southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts, loading most of the climbing early; the back half opens to roads and gentler terrain before a final technical stretch. A UTMB Index race, it completed its seventh annual edition in October 2025.
