Mighty Mosquito
Jul 25, 2026
Western New York's only 100-mile solo trail race, Mighty Mosquito loops through Mendon Ponds Park outside Rochester on multiple repeated trail circuits — roughly 9,000 feet of gain. The solo 100-miler starts at 6 AM with a 34-hour cutoff; relay teams run the same course concurrently. All proceeds benefit the Blue Foundation, a Canandaigua-based cancer-support charity. The race has run since at least 2015, originally under Trails Roc and later by Blue Foundation — one of the longer-running 100-mile events in the region.
