Mogollon Monster
Qualifier status per the 2026 lists
Founded in 2012, cancelled mid-race in 2014, and revived by Aravaipa Running in 2016, Mogollon Monster runs 102.3 miles point-to-point along the Mogollon Rim northeast of Phoenix — six rim ascents through Ponderosa Pine and high desert between 5,300 and 8,000 feet, with roughly 15,900 feet of total gain. A mandatory 50-mile qualifier and an 8-hour volunteer requirement thin the field; the 38-hour cutoff is further stiffened by technical terrain. Both a Hardrock 100 and Western States qualifier; Jeff Browning's CR is 20:52 (2021), Megan Eckert's 24:42 (2023).
