Qualifier status per the 2026 lists
Founded in 1990 and the fifth-oldest ultramarathon in the United States, Mohican Trail 100 runs four loops through the 5,000-acre Mohican Memorial State Forest in north-central Ohio — 95% dirt trail, remainder dirt road — with 12,864 feet of gain past Lyons Falls and the Clear Fork of the Mohican River. June heat and humidity can reach 90–100°F, making the 32-hour cutoff more punishing than the terrain alone. Home of the inaugural USATF Ultra Running Championship (2005); the "Last of the Mohicans" award goes to the final finisher within the cutoff.
