Qualifier status per the 2026 lists
Mountain Lakes 100 debuted in 2013 — the inaugural race was halted by a typhoon before any runner finished — and completed its first full edition in 2014. The course starts at Olallie Lake and runs south on the Pacific Crest Trail through the Oregon Cascades past 25-plus alpine lakes, with 11,700 feet of gain on technical, rocky single-track between Mt. Jefferson and Mt. Hood. The field caps at 150; all entrants must log 8 hours of trail work before race day. A Western States qualifier with a 30-hour cutoff; in 2025, 80 of 151 starters finished.
