Ouray
Founded in 2014, Ouray 100 covers 102.1 miles and 41,862 feet of gain — 26% more climbing than nearby Hardrock 100 — through the San Juan Mountains of Colorado on a series of out-and-back legs and a repeated loop, all starting and finishing at Fellin Park in Ouray. The course peaks at 13,365 feet and averages 10,239 feet, crossing loose scree, exposed alpine ridges, and 18+ named mining-era routes. The 52-hour cutoff is demanding; in 2025, 137 starters achieved a record 60% finish rate, with Ted Bross and Sarah Ostaszewski setting course records of 29:19 and 32:42.
