Silverheels
Founded in 2015, Silverheels runs point-to-point from Burning Bear Trailhead in Grant, Colorado to the Como Roundhouse — 83 non-repetitive miles through three ranger districts of two national forests at an average elevation just over 10,800 feet, with over 17,000 feet of gain. The course mixes single-track, fire roads, and dirt road through high alpine and sub-alpine meadows with views of up to 19 Colorado 14ers; monsoon-season thunderstorms, snow, and hail are normal in July. Entry requires a prior 100-mile finish or 50-plus-mile race. In 2023, 26 of 35 starters finished (74%).
