Utah · La Sal
Ute
Founded in 2018 by Jordan Ricks, Ute 100 completes a single loop through the La Sal Mountains above Moab — the highest-point course of any Utah 100-miler, summiting Mann's Peak at 12,272 feet with an average course elevation over 8,700 feet. The 100-mile distance accumulates roughly 23,000 feet of gain across Kokopelli Trail singletrack, aspen groves, technical scree, and river crossings, with 8 aid stations and a 41-hour cutoff. The field stays deliberately small: the 2023 edition counted 15 finishers at the 100-mile distance. Hardrock and Western States qualifications are not awarded.
