Debuting in 2025, Wolverine State 100 runs point-to-point across Michigan's Lower Peninsula — 100 miles from Bayfront Park in Petoskey on Lake Michigan to Bayview Park in Alpena on Lake Huron. The route mixes singletrack with gravel, limestone, sandy seasonal roads, and pavement through Northern Michigan forests and farm country, with aid stations every 5-8 miles. The terrain has no dramatic altitude but delivers technical roots, rocks, and leaf-covered trail demanding sustained focus; sub-24-hour 100-mile finishers receive special recognition.
