Yeti
Qualifier status per the 2026 lists
Founded in 2016, the Yeti 100 runs out-and-back on the Virginia Creeper Trail — a smooth crushed-granite rails-to-trail corridor from Abingdon through Damascus to Whitetop — covering 100 miles with roughly 3,000 feet of gain and nearly 11,000 feet of descent. More than 120 trestle crossings span streams and valleys along the former railroad grade, and former depots serve as aid stations. The gentle, crew-accessible surface and net downhill profile make it one of the East Coast's more approachable 100-milers.
