Qualifier status per the 2026 lists
Founded in 2012, the Zion Ultras 100 is a 96.9-mile loop starting and finishing at Ruby Rider Ranch in Apple Valley — threading Wire Mesa, Gooseberry Mesa, and the Virgin Desert on a mix of singletrack, slickrock, and exposed desert trail, with 10,481 feet of gain between 3,442 and 5,442 feet elevation. The course includes a fixed-rope descent on the technical Flying Monkey Trail and water crossings in Dalton Wash. A 36-hour cutoff and mandatory headlamp for overnight running define the experience in Utah's high desert.
